Fanatik have reported Galatasaray are chasing Cardiff City defender Bruno Ecuele Manga.

The Galatasaray board want to sign two new central defenders for next season and Cardiff City’s Ecuele Manga is one player the Turkish giants are looking at. Galatasaray are also hoping to sign Real Madrid veteran Pepe as they believe his leadership qualities will bring a lot to the team.

To partner Pepe, Galatasaray are looking at different options and Cardiff City defender Ecuele Manga is one of them. Galatasaray are looking for a cut price defender because of their financial problems (and because the bucks would be going to Pepe), and Manga’s contract situation (which will end in 3 months) is making the player a real possibility for CimBom.

Fanatik claim Galatasaray CEO Cenk Ergun is personally involved with the negotiations as the Turkish club want to act quickly to get their man.

The Gabonese international joined Cardiff City in 2014 and has been the main man in their defence since his arrival.

The 28-year-old has played 22 Championship games this season.
