Tottenham Hotspur youngster Luka Vuskovic has once again shared his desire to stay at HSV Hamburg beyond this summer, so he can play with his brother.

Rheinische Post have an interview with the Tottenham youngster today. He’s continued to insist that he fancies a longer stay at HSV.

He joined the German club on loan in the summer from Tottenham. It’s proven to be a smart for both since. The defender has quickly established himself as one of the rising stars in Europe with a series of impressive performances to date.

The current loan deal only runs until the summer. At that point, Tottenham have a decision to make, with Vuskovic showing rapid improvement week by week.

HSV would love to keep him long-term and Vuskovic has made it clear that he’d like to stay as well. His desire to remain where he is, is largely to do with his brother.

Mario Vuskovic also plays for HSV but is currently suspended until November. That means he is currently missing the opportunity to play alongside his youngster brother this season.

In this meantime, Luka hasn’t missed an opportunity to praise his sibling. And, when asked, made it clear that he’d love to be at HSV next year just to play with him. The latter is something he’s now repeated.

“It’s my dream to play with Mario here at the HSV,” he said.

“I love this club and the fans. I personally can’t think of a better scenario. We (him and Tottenham) have a good exchange and will decide together on the next right step.”
