Fiorentina have been pushing to sign Burnley‘s Luca Koleosho. The deal was going in the right direction but the player may have other plans.
Sport Witness have covered how Fabio Paratici has been keen on the winger. He was impressed with his spell at Paris FC and sees him as a possible replacement for Manor Solomon.
At one point, it felt like the move was going in the right direction and Burnley were seeking a permanent deal.
Now, some developments are causing hold-ups in the move.
Koleosho has other plans
Today’s Corriere dello Sport reports there is an agreement between Fiorentina and Burnley.
They don’t reveal the terms for that but state there is a green-light from both clubs.
Now, Koleosho has had second thoughts about the move. He knows Paris FC are keen on bringing him back to France. He is much more interested in that than heading to La Viola.
Clarets may not mind this
This shouldn’t turn out badly for Burnley. Competition means the Clarets can now aim for a higher fee.
Koleosho’s decision also makes sense. He showed glimpses of his talent in Paris and at this point, he needs stability in his career. Paris FC offer a chance for that and he is aware of the environment too.
