Burnley defender Quilindschy Hartman is back on Beşiktaş’ agenda as their search for a left back continues.

The Super Lig club were linked with the Dutchman earlier in the transfer window, but concentrated their efforts on other targets.

Last week Beşiktaş made a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers defender David Møller Wolfe, subsequently entering into transfer talks. The Black Eagles tabled an offer for the Norwegian international.

However, AS Roma also joined the race for the Wolves left back, resulting in Beşiktaş distancing themselves from the player.

The Istanbul giants have again turned their attention to the Burnley full back as they look to take advantage of his situation at Turf Moor. The 24-year-old has struggled for games in recent months and wasn’t involved in last weekend’s clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

Burnley transfer talks initiated

Sabah report Beşiktaş are back in transfer talks to sign Hartman due to their unsuccessful bid for Lazio’s Nuno Tavares. They were close to signing the Portugal international, but couldn’t get a deal over the line.

Beşiktaş are now considering making an offer for the Burnley defender after missing out on Tavares. A loan offer, with a purchase option, is being considered by the Super Lig club.

There are no reports if Burnley would sell the Dutchman in this transfer window. With the East Lancashire club in a relegation battle, Parker will not want to lose any of his senior players before the deadline.

They have until 6th February to get a deal done, when the Super Lig window closes.

Hartman signed for Burnley from Feyenoord in the summer and was a regular in his first few months. However, since December he’s not been in Parker’s plans and has featured just once in the past ten league games.

He’s contracted to the Clarets until June 2029.
