Burley are set to complete the signing of Loum Tchaouna from Lazio, with the contract on a loan deal signed on Wednesday.

That’s according to Gianluca di Marzio, who reports that the two clubs have signed the deal for the 21-year-old forward on Wednesday morning.

According to his information, Lazio have finalised a deal with Burnley for the striker. It is their first piece of business this summer.

The various transfer documents have been signed on a loan deal with an obligation for Burnley to buy the striker for €15.25m next summer. He’ll become the Clarets’ seventh signing of the summer joining Bashir Humphreys, Marcus Edwards, Jaidon Anthony, Quilindschy Hartman, Zian Flemming, Max Weiß and Axel Tuanzebe already.

It’s a quick departure from Lazio for the striker, who only joined the Italian side in a €m deal from Salernitana in 2024. It proved to be a difficult year for him as he managed just two goals and one assist in 37 games last season.

Now he’s set to head on a new adventure in the Premier League with Burnley, who will be hoping he can rediscover his goalscoring boots to help them avoid relegation.
