With Burnley going up and Leeds United going down, it seems there’s a player who could use that to stay in the Premier League.

That’s Whites’ right-back Cody Drameh, who, according to reports from Belgium, may be on his way to the Clarets.

Journalist Sacha Tavolieri writes that Burnley are currently ‘pushing’ to get Drameh signed from Leeds.

It’s said the Clarets have already placed a first offer, which was ‘refused’ by the Whites, and the Elland Road side wait for an improved bid.

Despite that first rejection, it seems the clubs are actually in good communication, as Tavolieri says the ‘discussions continue’ in view to an agreement.

The report also claims that Drameh himself is ‘keen’ on switching Leeds for Burnley, so it should be no surprise if we see the white smoke soon.

For now, there are no details on how much the Clarets put on the table in the first bid, and how much they should offer now.

Drameh joined Leeds’ academy in 2021 for €440k, and is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €3.5m.
