Burnley’s Michael Koleosho is finding some form in his loan spell at Paris FC. This is helping him attract attention in Italy.
Last month, Sport Witness covered comments from the attacker about his love for AC Milan. He also described a move to Serie A as a dream.
Despite having played for Italy’s U21s side, he has never played in Italy, previously plying his trade with Espanyol.
The Burnley player has three Ligue 1 goals this season and has quickly attracted interest from Bologna. This could help Koleosho achieve a dream.
Bologna scouted Italian
Corriere dello Sport yesterday spoke of Bologna’s plans for the summer transfer window. They detailed that sporting director Marco Di Vaio and technical director Giovanni Sartori were present in the stands to watch Paris FC’s 4-0 win over Brest in Ligue 1 at the weekend.
It is mentioned that defender Otavio was the specific focus of the trip but they didn’t rule out interest in other players.
Today’s Corriere dello Sport states the Burnley player is also of interest to the Rossoblu. Sartori and Di Vaio are fans of his profile and see him as someone who can improve their attack next season.
A move will depend on Riccardo Orsolini’s future, with Jonathan Rowe’s situation also in doubt.
Koleosho’s rise in Paris has attracted Bologna’s interest. The report mentions that the Clarets loanee is commanding a ‘significant premium’ because of his form in France.
Burnley may have little control
As of now, Paris FC have the option to buy Koleosho permanently. There is little clarity about whether that will go through or not but it does seem like the winger’s future at Turf Moor is sealed.
Burnley’s relegation hasn’t helped either.
Paris FC could even decide to use their option on the 21-year-old and then sell him on.
