After something of a quiet summer, it seems Burnley are going to be making moves late in the window, and they’re focusing their attention on Seville.

Earlier today we covered a report they were making a late bid to scupper Crystal Palace’s move for Real Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa, and now they’ve turned their attention to Sevilla as well.

Estadio Deportivo report today that the Clarets are keen on defender Joris Gnagnon this summer and are trying to get a deal done for the French defender.

Gnagnon is on Sevilla’s sale list, and Sevilla are rushing to get him out the door before the Premier League transfer window closes on Thursday.

Burnley have shown interest in Gnagnon, as well as Ibrahim Amadou, although it is the former they are most keen on.

Sevilla are said to be looking for €6-8m for the 22-year-old, but Estadio are not very confident that a deal is possible before the deadline.
