PSV forward Luuk de Jong has told the Dutch media it would be a dream to play alongside his brother Siem with the Eredivisie. Siem has been linked with move away from Newcastle United this summer with claims PSV are interested in the attacking midfielder.
Voetbal Primeur have reported on comments Luuk made when he was asked about the possibility of playing with his brother at PSV. Luuk said he would welcome Siem joining the Dutch side because lining up alongside the Newcastle United player is something he dreams about.
Luuk went on to say he hopes Siem now recovers quickly from his latest injury setback so he can start playing football somewhere.
“It’s a dream to play with him. He is of course welcome for me. It’s a shame that he is injured in the pre-season. Hopefully he recovers quickly because he again wants to play football somewhere,” said the PSV star.
Yesterday we covered reports Siem de Jong was a target for PSV after struggling to make an impact during his time at Newcastle United. However, with the Dutchman picking up another injury it looks like a move back to Holland will be put on hold.
