Brighton & Hove Albion star Moisés Caicedo is reportedly a target for both Chelsea and Manchester United in the summer window.
The Red Devils have reportedly shifted their focus on the midfielder after the Blues rejected their third bid for Mason Mount, but recent claims had stated Chelsea are set to open talks with Brighton while Manchester United plan to make a formal approach for the 21-year-old.
A report from Ecuador even stated this week would be crucial for the Premier League giants to try and sign Caicedo. Following these claims, El Universo got in touch with his agent, Manuel Sierra, for an update.
The Ecuador international is currently on a holiday as his representative is working behind the scenes to sort out his future, and it’s claimed his suitors ‘have to be patient to negotiate’ a deal with Brighton.
Sierra told El Universo that reports published up until Wednesday about Chelsea and Manchester United’s interest in his client are ‘not real’.
The agent adds ‘everything becomes clearer’ by the day and also points out that ‘nothing has been done yet’ for Caicedo’s transfer in this window.
