Brighton and Hove Albion star Pascal Groß has again batted away questions about a potential move to Eintracht Frankfurt, insisting his focus is on the German national team.

The 32-year-old is currently a part of the Germany squad ahead of EURO 2024 after another impressive season with Brighton in which he was a key player once again and managed four goals and ten assists in 36 games in the league.
Those numbers have earned him his place in Julian Nagelsmann’s plans but, rather than the focus of questions being on that, they have been about his future.
Groß has often helped to fuel these rumours somewhat, having regularly admitted publically that his career plan has always been to return to Germany at some point.
He, though, isn’t interested in talking about his future at this moment in time and has batted away that conversation once again.
“For me personally, the most important thing is that I can be here and represent Germany. That makes me incredibly proud. It’s an absolute lifelong dream that has driven me,” he said.
“I have spoken out clearly about it (his future), not just this year, but also in previous years. I have been playing in England for a long time, the Premier League is incredibly fun, the games are really fun.
“It was always clear to me that at some point I would go home. I fought for a long time to be here, now I want to focus on that.”
