Earlier this week, Meczyki.pl reported Pogoń Szczecin star Kacper Kozłowski is ‘most likely to become’ a new Brighton & Hove Albion player in the winter market.

It was also explained the Seagulls plan to send the 18-year-old on loan to Belgian side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, once they complete his signing.

Graham Potter’s side, however, now face competition from Liverpool to sign the midfielder. That’s what Super Express are reporting.

As per the claims, Brighton have made an offer of around £8m for the talented youngster. They have ‘shown greatest determination’ in the race to sign the player from the ‘very beginning’.

However, Potter’s side must make an extra effort in order to acquire his services in the next window and that’s because of what the Merseyside club are willing to offer.

Super Express state Jürgen Klopp’s side are willing to pay £10m to acquire the talented youngster’s services.

Brighton are showing the ‘greatest determination’ to acquire Kozłowski’s services, but must make a new offer in excess of £10m to beat the Reds to his signature.
