Denis Undav is one step away from leaving Brighton & Hove Albion, according to reports.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri writes that the player is ready to move to a Bundesliga club, whose name is not revealed.
All the reporter says is that the 27-year-old will move on a year-long loan from Brighton, with the German side having an option to buy.
The journalist says there’s ‘more to follow’, so we should soon get to know what Undav’s destination will be.
The striker joined Brighton in a €7m deal from Union SG in January 2022, and stayed at the Belgian side for a few more months, before completing the move last summer.
In his first season with the Seagulls, he had eight goals and one assist in 30 appearances, and that apparently didn’t impress Brighton.
They recently spent €35m on signing João Pedro from Watford, and now seem to be offloading the Belgian striker, who’d be unlikely to have many more chances under Roberto De Zerbi next season.
Now we should soon know more about his destination and how much that buying option will be.
