Brighton and Hove Albion are looking to strengthen in the fullback areas, which has led to several claims around the European media.
Tuesday brings a new name to the Brighton agenda, with L’Equipe claiming there’s serious Seagulls interest in François Moubandjé.
The French newspaper report in their Tuesday edition that, in their search for a left back, Brighton have identified Moubandjé as a target, and are now considering what to do with their interest.
Moubandjé plays for Toulouse and L’Equipe state Brighton have asked the French club about conditions for a transfer, which usually means they’ve asked what the price is.
Moubandjé is 27 years old, and has a contract with Toulouse until June 2019. He’s primarily a left back, but the left footer can also operate further forward on the left wing and back in central defence.
