Julio Enciso’s agent, Pedro Aldave, has admitted that there is a possibility the midfielder will leave Brighton and Hove Albion this summer.
Versus have an interview with Aldave today, in which the subject of Enciso’s future was discussed after a week full of reports about an exit.
Enciso has been linked with a move away from Brighton this summer after spending the second half of last season on loan at Ipswich Town.
He was a regular for the relegated side when fit, getting the regular playing time that had now been on offer in Fabian Hurzeler’s squad.
All indications are that he is not a part of Brighton’s future plans, particularly with the current squad packed with midfield talent.
Reports this week have linked Enciso with a move to Portuguese giants Porto. They’ve explained that the Brighton man already has a personal agreement with them. There is, though, no agreement in place with Brighton over a transfer fee at present.
For the time being, Enciso will be returning to the Seagulls, although his agent admits there is every chance he’ll depart again this summer.
“He’s going to return, he has to return, but one possibility is that he’ll leave in this transfer window,” he said.
