Over the past few weeks, there have been a number of stories from Turkey surrounding the future of Sacha Boey, with Brighton & Hove Albion and Arsenal often implicated.
While the two Premier League clubs are currently being discussed when it comes to Moises Caicedo, the duo are also fighting over the French right-back.
As things stand, according to Milliyet’s Nevzat Dindar, it’s Brighton who have the advantage over Arsenal in the race.
Speaking in a lengthy video, relayed by the website itself, the journalist explained all that was going on around Boey, who recently had to pull out of the France U21 squad with an injury.
One thing is certain, however, in Dindar’s eyes, and that’s Boey’s exit in the next few months.
He said: “Sacha Boey is going to England. €14m is not true, it’s expected to be at least €20m. Galatasaray are demanding for €22m. Brighton made a higher offer than Arsenal. At the moment, an offer of around €18m has been received. Galatasaray will buy a good right-back to replace Boey if he leaves. Léo Dubois is not one of the names considered to replace Boey.”
The Brighton and Arsenal target has been in fine form with the Turkish side since joining from Rennes in the summer of 2021 for €1.15m, and helped out with one goal and four assists in 33 games in all competitions this season.
