Brighton & Hove Albion have included transfer chief George Syrianos in their target list.
That’s according to Bild, who explain the Seagulls will provide competition to Real Valladolid and two other Bundesliga sides to appoint the 33-year-old.
The details of the two German clubs are not mentioned, while the report states Brighton and the La Liga side are ‘hot’ on the ‘squad planner’.
Operating as the head of recruitment, he played a vital role off the pitch in helping the Tricky Trees achieve promotion to the Premier League and also took care of their transfer business in the summer transfer window.
Having parted ways with Nottingham Forest earlier this season, Syrianos is on Brighton’s agenda. Real Valladolid president Ronaldo is also looking to appoint him as a consultant for the La Liga side.
That’s all Bild have to say about the four clubs that have set their sights on Syrianos. Prior to his time at Nottingham Forest, Syrianos worked as VfB Stuttgart’s chief analyst between February 2017 and June 2021.
