Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace and Everton are today all linked to Almeria fullback Sergio Akieme.

Their interest is revealed by Estadio Deportivo, who highlight the chances of him moving to the Premier League soon.

The Spanish outlet writes that with the interest from English clubs in Akieme, Almeria are even targeting other players for his replacement.

It’s said the 25-year-old could leave the club a ‘very juicy amount’ in case the likes of Brighton, Crystal Palace or Everton ‘come seriously’ for his signing.

Almeria only paid €3.5m to sign him from Barcelona in the summer of 2021, and Estadio Deportivo highlights the fact that his market price has now grown to €7.5m.

The outlet points out that none of Brighton, Everton and Crystal Palace would have problems affording such an operation, so there’s not a lot the La Liga side could do to hold the player.

Akieme himself also seems interested in moving to the Premier League, as it’s said there are ‘rumours’ which show he’s now more convinced of making that switch. That should be one more reason why Almeria already look for replacements.
