AFC Bournemouth’s Dango Ouattara is on his way to join Brentford this summer.
That’s according to Foot Mercato, and they cover the advances made by the Bees to sign the Bournemouth player.
It’s claimed Brentford are paying €40m to Bournemouth for the winger, who can also be used as a wing-back.
The Cherries have accepted their Premier League rival’s offer as the report claims Brentford have reached a ‘full agreement’ with Andoni Iraola’s side.
Foot Mercato further adds Brentford have also agreed personal terms with the 23-year-old and he needs to carry out transfer formalities before this operation is complicated.
This will happen soon as the outlet reports the Burkina Faso international will carry out medical tests with Brentford in the ‘coming hours’. It won’t be long before the London club will make his signing official.
Bournemouth agreed to pay €23m plus €4m bonuses to FC Lorient to sign Ouattara in January 2023. They will make profit from with his impending €40m move to Brentford.
Ouattara mainly operated on both wings and as wing-backs, scored 11 and registering nine assists from 88 games for Bournemouth.
