Brentford are one of the English sides interest in Eintracht Frankfurt star Jesper Lindstrøm, with the German side ready to let him depart.
That’s according to Sport 1, who say the Bundesliga club ‘will not put any obstacles’ in the player’s way should interested parties come forwards.
According to their information, a departure from Frankfurt is ‘taking concrete shape’ and they would be willing to let him go for around €30m.
The Hessians have already been contacted by three to four big clubs about the player and they are open to letting the 23-year-old depart at the end of this season.
The Bees are also looking for ‘talented professionals’ to add to Thomas Frank’s squad and Lindstrøm fits the bill on that front.
If they make a move they’ll find Eintracht Frankfurt more than accommodating, with sporting director Markus Krösche having already picked up a replacement in Omar Marmoush.
He and the rest of those in charge of the club believe Lindstrøm has ‘reached his peak’ and there is no further development for him, thus there is a ‘willingness to sell’.
That might be something they don’t want to share too often if they’re to convince Brentford into a purchase, mind you, with the Bees seemingly thinking that Lindstrøm is someone worth taking a punt on.
