Brentford have included Torino’s Alessandro Buongiorno in their target list for the summer window.

The centre-back is currently with the Italy squad at the Euros and there could be movements with regards to his future.

According to Area Napoli, Napoli are in the picture to sign the 25-year-old this summer, and they are vigilant about his situation, also because of Brentford’s interest.

It’s claimed Thomas Frank’s side have carried out polls to find out information about the Italy international. The report adds the Bees don’t want to go beyond €30m to acquire his signature.

Torino chairman Urbano Cairo apparently wants more.

The Naples club, for their part, are ‘not scared’ about the competition from Brentford, and they are not willing to give up chasing the Torino star.

The report states Buongiorno has held talks with new Napoli manager Antonio Conte, and the Italian club have a general agreement with his agent, Giuseppe Riso, for a five-year deal.

Despite this, Area Napoli say ‘nothing has been decided yet’ for Buongiorno, and this may give Brentford hope to sign him this summer.
