Born in France but a Tunisia international, Aïssa Laïdouni is currently playing in Hungary’s top-tier for Ferencváros.
However, his exile in Eastern Europe hasn’t stopped clubs from keeping an eye on him, with Brentford FC among those interested in the midfielder.
This comes from Foot Mercato in France, who list the clubs currently wanting the 26-year-old, as well as those who have made an offer.
As things stand, Brentford have yet to move for Laïdouni, unlike Sampdoria, who have put €4.1m on the table for him.
The player, who is also of interest to Toulouse and has been offered to Lyon, is also being targeted by Espanyol in Spain and Union Berlin in Germany, who have both offered €4m.
Then, there’s Brentford and Stuttgart who are ‘also interested, but have not made an official offer just yet’.
That could easily change, as we all know, and it appears that if Thomas Frank wants to add the player to his squad before the end of the month, the Bees will have to make an offer very quickly, with other clubs already showing their hands.
