Brentford and Fulham are in the picture to sign AS Roma’s Andrea Belotti, according to Romagiallorossa.it.

The striker has clocked in less than 700 minutes from 15 games this season, managing five goals and two assists in the process. José Mourinho has mainly used him as a backup for Romelu Lukaku.

Belotti could change clubs next month and both Brentford and Fulham are mentioned as possible destinations.

The 29-year-old is followed ‘intensively’ by Fiorentina, Genoa and Palmeiras. He also has ‘admirers’ in England and this is when the Bees and Marco Silva’s side are mentioned.

Tammy Abraham is expected to return from a serious knee injury in February. In addition to this, Sardar Azmoun [on loan from Bayer Leverkusen] isn’t expected to leave Roma in January.

This could see the former Torino man drop down the pecking order, which is why the Giallorossi may get rid of him in the winter market.

In other words, Mourinho’s side could make it easier for Brentford, Fulham and other interested parties to sign Belotti.

He has a deal until 2025 and the report makes no mention of the formula/fee needed to take the player away from Roma.
