Chicago Fire FC’s Jhon Durán has ended up on the transfer agenda of Brentford, Fulham and Aston Villa.
Operating mainly as a centre forward, he has scored eight goals and registered six assists from 30 matches for the MLS side this year.
His displays have caught the attention of Fulham, Brentford, Aston Villa and even Benfica.
According to Calciomercato.it, the Premier League trio have each ‘made a proposal’ for the 19-year-old. The details of the offers are not specified in the report.
Benfica have also submitted a bid for the Colombia international and their offer includes €10m plus an additional €5m as potential bonus payments. The Portuguese side seem to be ahead of Brentford, Fulham and Aston Villa as it’s claimed they are currently ‘on pole’.
Durán’s deal runs until December 2024 and Chicago Fire FC retain an option to extend it by a further two years.
The South American made his debut for Colombia in September and Calciomercato.it say Durán is destined to become one of the regular players for his country.
