Currently at Bayern Munich II, Christopher Scott could end up on this side of the Channel relatively soon.

That’s according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg, who explains that both Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic and Brentford F.C. are interested in the 19-year-old.

The interest stems from the fact the player ‘wants to play regularly’, and while Bayern are said to be interested in extend him ‘beyond 2022’, the youngster is currently free to talk to other sides, since his deal runs out in the summer.

It’s explained that ‘talks with Brentford and Celtic’ are currently happening, meaning either Ange Postecoglou and Thomas Frank could end up with promising player in their squad for no transfer fee.

We’ll have to wait and see what comes from all this, but Scott’s talent is clearly something that has caught the eye in Scotland and England.

The 19-year-old moved from Bayer Leverkusen to FC Bayern’s U19s in 2020, and has two appearances for the latter’s first-team.

However, there’s no denying he’s more likely to get more regular football either at Parkhead with Celtic or at Brentford Community Stadium going forward.

Whether the Bhoys or the Bees get their man, though, remains to be seen.
