Brentford are one of the sides showing an interest in Croatian youngster Luka Stojkovic, who is set to decide his future after the U21 European Championships.
That’s according to journalist Lorenzo Lepore, who say the 19-year-old NK Lokomotiva youngster has aroused interest around Europe.
Stojkovic is set to be the starter for his country at the tournament in Romania and Georgia, with Croatia set to kick off their campaign on Wednesday 21st June.
It appears he will be watched closely during the competition, with Club Brugge, Brentford and Torino all clubs that like him.
None of them appear to have made a move as yet but the youngster is valued at €3-4m, a more than affordable price for the clubs eyeing him.
Indeed, Brentford have shown a willingness to splash the cash on youngsters in the last few years, with players under 22 targeted in the last few windows as part of their plans to develop players for the future.
They’ll have to wait until next month at the earliest, particularly if Croatia reach the final, which is scheduled for July 8th, as Lepore insists Stojkovic won’t decide his future until the tournament is over.
