Chelsea have still not made an offer for the Santos midfielder Thiago Maia.
The youngster, who is currently with the Brazil Olympic team, enjoyed the visit of the former AC Milan and now Santos striker Ricardo Oliveira on Thursday.
The 36-year-old is a leader at the Brazilian club and went to talk to Thiago to give him advice on his future, and no doubt also support during the games.
Globo Esporte says that Giuliano Bertolucci, the agent who’s set to become Thiago’s next representative, told him he’s coming with an offer from Chelsea and another from PSG soon.
Thiago believes he’s not ready to go to Europe yet, so Globo says that the solution for that would be to seal a deal now and only change clubs next year.
Much will depend on Chelsea’s offer, and whether they’d be prepared to wait a year for the player.
