With Cristiano Ronaldo on his way to Juventus, it’s inevitable that Neymar is being pointed out as one of the most likely replacements for the Real Madrid star.

Florentino Perez’s chase for the Brazilian has been going on for over a decade, and with the player’s experience in Paris not looking perfect, that’s an obvious rumour for the summer.

But Neymar doesn’t think he’s leaving France this year, at least according to reports from South America this Tuesday.

Journalist Ancelmo Gois, who has a column in Rio de Janeiro’s most important newspaper Globo, claims that the star has told friends he’s staying at Paris Saint German for ‘at least one more year’.

As the column is made of short information, there aren’t many other details on Neymar’s future. It’s just claimed that the player must be careful with the impression he left in Russia, as he could even lose sponsors due to the downfall of his popularity in Brazil.
