Earlier today, we saw reports from the Italian media claiming that AFC Bournemouth have an agreement to sign Ionut Radu from Inter Milan.
It was claimed by Calciomercato that the Cherries would land the 26-year-old on a loan deal with an option to buy, and the amount for the permanent move wasn’t revealed.
Now as journalist Gianluca Di Marzio writes about the agreement, he brings a few more details about the operation.
According to his report, Bournemouth are indeed signing Radu on a year-long loan, and will have the chance to purchase him for an €8m fee.
Di Marzio adds that the goalkeeper will be in London tonight. As previously called by Calciomercato, he’s expected to have his medicals on Wednesday.
The journalist also wonders whether Radu will have the starting place in Bournemouth’s Premier League debut against West Ham on August 12, or if he’ll still have to fight for a place in their squad.
The goalkeeper wasn’t having any chances at Inter Milan, and despite André Onana’s departure, he chose to try his luck with the Cherries.
