Battling Chelsea to try and keep Radja Nainggolan throughout the beginning of the summer, the Italian club succeeded in their endeavour, but couldn’t hold onto Miralem Pjanic.
The Bosnian playmaker ended up at rivals Juventus, but this time it’s Roma themselves who are looking to offload one of their midfielders, according to Il Tempo, rather than someone trying to take one off them.
Unsurprisingly, it’s a little bit harder than just saying ‘no’ for your best players, and the Serie A club are offering around William Vainqueur after Luciano Spalletti admitted he might not be able to guarantee the Frenchman a starting spot.
The aim would be to replace him with a better profile, and the player is sought after by both Standard Liege in Belgium and Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Whether or not this will turn into an official bid in the near future, we’ll have to wait and see, but it seems like the midfielder could leave before the end of the window.
Will it be to the Premier League? If you had the choice between Bournemouth and the Jupiler Pro League, what would you go for?
