Kenny Lala is a French defender who plays for Strasbourg in the Ligue 1, having joined them from Lens last summer.
In the league, he made 30 starts and had one appearance from the bench, scoring three goals and registering four assists in the process. The 26-year-old can play as a right-back, left-back or on the right side of midfield.
Lala’s goals and assists in Ligue 1 came when he was playing on the right side of the pitch.
Today’s edition of the French newspaper L’Equipe claims the versatile player is attracting interest from Germany and England, specifically Bournemouth.
The report doesn’t mention the names of the German clubs looking to secure the former Valenciennes man’s signature. However, they have cited AFC Bournemouth’s interest from the Premier League.
L’Equipe also claims German clubs have contacted the player, but Eddie Howe’s side are “more pressing” and “pushing” to sign the Strasbourg defender in the summer transfer window.
Lala’s contract with his current employers will run down at the end of next season.
