According to a claim in the Turkish media, Bournemouth forward Enes Ünal has been ruled out for the season.
The Turkey international recently picked up a serious injury after suffering whilst training.
Yagiz Sabuncuoglu has today reported on the latest developments regarding the Bournemouth player’s situation and the Turkish journalist has revealed he will today undergo surgery on his knee.
Sabuncuoglu goes on to say Ünal will not play again this season due to damage to his ACL.
This will come as another blow to Bournemouth after reports Evanilson has also had to undergo surgery on his broken foot. The Brazilian wasn’t involved in the Cherries 2-2 draw with Chelsea last night and was ruled out of Bournemouth’s clash with West Bromwich Albion last weekend.
Bournemouth now go into their away game Newcastle United on Saturday without two of their recognised centre-forwards. It seems Andoni Iraola will again have to shuffle his forward line after Dango Ouattara was employed as his centre-forward in the draw with Chelsea.
