Bought to replace Alisson last the summer, rather large expectations were placed on Robin Olsen at Roma.
Unfortunately, the Sweden international hasn’t lived up to them, unable to match the Brazilian’s prowess from last season, conceding 42 goals in 27 games this season, keeping just four clean sheets.
This has led to Roma thinking about selling him in the summer, with clubs such as Bournemouth and Norwich City reportedly taking an interest.
Calciomercato in Italy are the ones with the information on Thursday, explaining both the Cherries and Norwich are ‘trying’ for the Swede ahead of the summer.
The website go on to explain that Roma would be willing to sell him for less than €15m, as they turn their attention to Cagliari’s Alessio Cragno for next season.
With Artur Boruc’s contract set to run out at the end of the season, it appears Eddie Howe is considering replacing the Pole with Olsen to provide competition for Begovic.
Down Norwich’s end, the Championship leaders are in the same boat, as Michael McGovern’s deal is due to expire in the next couple of months.
However, Tim Krul might have something to say about this.
Robin Olsen has also recently been linked with Watford.
