AFC Bournemouth and Leeds United are in the picture to sign Fenerbahçe’s Bright Osayi-Samuel in the summer.
The 25-year-old joined the Turkish club from Queens Park Rangers in January 2021 and has been a regular for them since then. He now wants to return to England, where Bournemouth and Leeds have emerged as his options.
That’s according to A Spor, who state the Yellow Canaries have ‘decided to evaluate’ the offers they receive for the defender.
It’s claimed a few English clubs have already contacted the Nigeria international’s agent and also ‘started negotiations’. This is when the Cherries and the Whites are mentioned as these two sides are ahead of other English clubs.
Fenerbahçe have identified the right-back as one of the players who would be used to raise funds. They ‘will approve the sale’ of Osayi-Samuel if they receive a ‘suitable offer’ of around €10m.
Both Bournemouth and Leeds have made contact with the player’s camp, but there’s no mention if they are willing to make an offer for him.
A Spor’s report surfaced before Leeds were relegated from the Premier League after a 4-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
