AFC Bournemouth have a deal to sign Ionut Radu from Inter Milan, according to reports from Italy.
Calciomercato claims that following some interest shown by the Cherries in recent days, there’s now an agreement for him to move to Vitality Stadium.
It’s said that Bournemouth will be signing the goalkeeper on a one-year loan. That will include a non-obligatory clause to buy him.
Calciomercato writes that Radu is set to have his medicals on Wednesday, then gets prepared to sign the contract and be officially announced by the Premier League club.
The goalkeeper has been at Inter Milan since 2013, when he joined their academy on a move from Pergolettese. He even had a short move to Genoa but was soon bought back by the Nerazzurri.
In all those years, though, he only made five appearances for the club, and even with the departure of André Onana to Manchester United, it seemed like he wouldn’t have a new chance there.
That’s why Bournemouth had a good chance to sign him, getting the 26-year-old on a loan before deciding whether to buy him.
