Bournemouth and Wolverhampton Wanderers continue to be named in the race for Sporting striker Youssef Chermiti.
Today, it’s newspaper Record who feature a story about the players who could still leave the Lions this summer, and the 19-year-old is one of them.
The outlet writes that Chermiti is very much liked by English clubs, and there’s a little update on where Bournemouth and Wolves stand in this race.
It’s claimed the Molineux side continue to be ‘attentive’ to the player, while the Cherries prepare their offer for the transfer.
Even though it sounds like it’s Bournemouth who are ahead of Wolves in the race, there seems to be no hurry now, with Sporting waiting to evaluate everything that shows up on their table.
The Lions consider Chermiti to be ‘negotiable’, but are clear with their demands to let him go. The request is €20m plus 20% of a future transfer.
The interest from Bournemouth and Wolves had been reported by the Portuguese media in the past few weeks, and it seems Sporting are just waiting for the moves.
