French striker Lys Mousset’s debut season in the Premier League hasn’t gone the way he must have expected.
Arriving at Bournemouth from Le Havre in the summer in a €7.5m deal, Mousset has managed just 23 minutes of league football under Eddie Howe.
We reported Ligue 1 side Bastia had shown interest in signing the 20-year-old on loan, whilst Metz and Montpellier are also lurking around.
The Frenchman isn’t believed to be happy with his situation at Bournemouth, and L’Equipe report the Premier League side have given him approval to sign for a club on loan for the second half of the season.
While Bournemouth is open to sending the player on loan to clubs in England or abroad, L’Equipe claim Mousset isn’t particularly keen on signing for Bastia.
Montpellier have reportedly also positioned themselves to sign Mousset and the Ligue 1 club possibly could be his next destination, but that remains to be seen.
