Bild: Sane at Schalke training ground early, goodbyes on agenda, Man City move close to completion

 

Manchester City are interested in signing German winger Leroy Sane, and are already in negotiations with Schalke.

Yesterday, Sane returned for pre-season training early, as the German national team players were expected back only this weekend, reports German newspaper Bild.

It is reported Sane came back early for pre-season training to say goodbye to Schalke fans, signing autographs and taking pictures.

Bild say Sane is on the verge of signing for Manchester City, and that both parties are ‘playing poker over the final millions’.

Manchester City will pay €50m for the player, which also includes performance based bonuses. The 20-year-old has already agreed a four-year contract with the Premier League giants.

Sane has been a long term target for Manchester City, and they’ll be hoping to wrap up the transfer soon.
