In the past few months, with Lucas Moura getting closer to the end of his contract with Tottenham Hotspur, we’ve seen him many reports teasing over a return to Brazil.
The player has always shown his love for São Paulo, and made it clear he’d like to return to his former club, as long as he decides to move to his home country next year.
Moura, however, also claimed that he’d wait and see if he has other good offers on the table. And that seems to be exactly what is happening now.
Lance claims the player has ‘big possibilities’ of leaving Tottenham for free at the end of the season, as he recently received approaches from England, Italy, United States and the ‘Arab World’.
It isn’t made clear when those clubs want to sign him, although it’s highlighted that all those contacts were made just before the January transfer window.
For now, it isn’t clear whether Tottenham would let Moura go for free before the end of his contract. Lucas Moura only has 11 appearances for the club this season, with just 269 minutes played.
