Aston Villa’s opportunity to sign Loïc Badé from Sevilla may be now as the defender is willing to listen to offers this summer.

That’s according to Marca, who say the Sevilla centre-back may also be on Bayer Leverkusen’s transfer list as a replacement for Jonathan Tah.

They explain that Badé is seen as a potential replacement for the defender, who left to join Bayern Munich earlier this month. He’s certainly on the German club’s list of options.

No formal offer has been made as yet and there are other options for the Bundesliga side to explore as well.

But the window for Badé is very much open. He rejected a move to Aston Villa in the January transfer window but is now willing to listen to offers.

This is a point that has been made elsewhere in Spain too, with it explained that both he and Sevilla accept it may be time to part ways. The Spanish club need the money to balance their books and Badé is very much the saleable asset in the squad.

Whether that will tempt Aston Villa back, is up for debate. But they were keen not long ago and with Badé now open to offers, there may be no better opportunity to get him.
