‘Big news’ for Tottenham player – Club look to buy him ‘in next few days’

AC Milan are back.

After over a month of trying to sign Emerson Royal for around €10m and some nice words, the Rossoneri have returned and now hope to close a deal in the next few days.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports it’s ‘big news’ on the Tottenham Hotspur player given that Milan appeared to be moving to other options. There’s no figures included in the article, although presumably the Serie A side are having to go quite a bit higher than that €10m figure.

They’ll have almost certainly tried to weight it with bonuses, so it’ll be interesting to see what the final deal is comprised of.

Di Marzio appears to have some confidence that this transfer should now be going somewhere, and it’s claimed AC Milan hope to close Emerson’s signing ‘in the next few days’.

If they can clinch it that would be ideal, allowing the Brazilian to get a big chunk of pre-season with the Italian club. The Tottenham player has been keen on the move all summer so there’ll be no issues in that regard.
