Everton are ‘in the front row’ for Juventus striker Arkadiusz Milik, although claims as such may be over inflated at this moment in time.

Corriere dello Sport cover the situation today and explain that Juventus continue to reshape their squad after hiring Thiago Motta as their new manager this summer.

They’ve already secured several exits to raise funds but have several other players on their list of players they’d like to move on and Milik is one of them.

The veteran striker does not appear to be in Juventus’ plans moving forwards and Corriere report that ‘there are sirens’ from the Premier League.

According to them Everton are one of the sides ‘in the front row’ for the striker, which makes it sound exciting, but they offer nothing more than that.

Now Everton have been linked earlier in this window as a report on the 23rd named them as potential suitors but that is quite literally the only link this summer and there has been nothing on the matter since then.

This, then, feels more like a lazy mention and Everton being thrown out in order to name a club rather than anything concrete.

The reality is that the Toffees don’t particularly need a striker at this moment in time and are only likely to move for one if something more definitive happens around Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Thus, it would be surprising if they were in the front row for anyone in that area, with other positions in the squad needing far more attention.
