Bid placed for Tottenham player – ‘Mental health’ will dictate his summer destination

Tottenham Hotspur fullback Emerson Royal is a very wanted man in the transfer market, according to the latest reports.

Brazilian outlet Trivela writes that there are ‘good chances’ the player had his farewell match with Spurs last weekend, as he’s the subject of repeat from other clubs.

The website writes that AC Milan and Bayern Munich both placed offers for him, while clubs from Saudi Arabia are interested in the Tottenham player as well.

The report makes it clear that Royal won’t be attracted by money, as he’s prioritising his ‘mental health’ and will only play in a place where he feels good. He’s already said to be working on his wellbeing and will keep having that as the primary importance for the rest of his career.

He’s said to prefer a stay in Europe, and that makes Milan and Bayern the ‘favourites’ for his signing this summer.

For now, there’s no information on how much those clubs will put on Tottenham’s table to make the transfer possible. Royal is valued by Transfermarkt at €18m, and has a contract with Spurs running until 2026.
