After silence on the future of Fluminense midfielder André, who’s a target for Fulham, we now get to see some news on what’s happening around him.
Journalist Victor Lessa, who’s covering the Brazilian club’s campaign at the Club World Cup, features a video claiming the player continues to be chased by many clubs.
It’s said that even though André is represented by agent Carlos Leite, Jorge Mendes has a partnership for his sale and has been offering him to clubs around Europe.
One of those clubs is Paris Saint Germain, although they’re only considered in case a move to the Premier League doesn’t work out.
Regarding the English clubs, it’s said Liverpool’s interest seems to have got ‘a bit colder’, and Fulham showed up with ‘more strength’.
Lessa says that no official bids have arrived so far, and the offers are expected to be made during or after the Club World Cup, which is already taking place.
The journalist even points out that with Fluminense focused on the tournament, they have ‘no interest’ in talking about the sale, so there’s a chance something is going on in secret.
So as Fulham continue showing up as one of the favourite destinations, perhaps their bid is on the way.
