On Monday, we covered the news that Antonio Tikvic was very close to being the latest player to be a part of a Pozzo deal between Watford and Udinese.
There were very few details about the move, but there are some in his homeland of Croatia, with 24 Sata bringing a bit more to the table.
They recall the defender only arrived in Udine from Bayern Munich in the summer, but has barely featured for them, which is why a move to Watford is being organised.
24 Sata talk about the deal as if it was as good as done and claim it will be a six-month loan for the Hornets.
The newspaper point out he is the second Croatian to follow this path, as Stipe Perica did the exact same in 2020, moving to Watford before heading to Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2021.
Tikvic, who is only 19, has made just two appearances for Udinese, one in Serie A in a one minute cameo, with the second coming in the Coppa Italia in a tight game against Cagliari that went to extra time which they eventually lost 2-1.
