On Saturday, Samuel Chukwueze picked up a vital assist in Fulham’s 1-0 win over Sunderland.

The Nigerian made an impact off the bench, showing he’s capable of coming up with key contributions. It was his second assist for Fulham since he arrived from AC Milan in the summer.

Fulham have an option to buy the winger permanently for around €23m.

MilanLive now look at the 26-year-old’s situation after his contribution against Sunderland.

They note that Fulham’s permanent purchase will help Milan make a capital gain.

They signed the Nigeria international from Villarreal for €21m in 2023. The outlet believe that a permanent move to the London club will benefit all parties, especially if Chukwueze keeps performing at his best.

Emphasis is placed on how Fulham fans are growing excited about the attacker and what he can provide going forward.  The outlet explain to an Italian audience that Chukwueze has ‘rediscovered his smile’ and is enjoying football again.

AC Milan’s local media expect Fulham to use that clause, which is perhaps a little premature at the moment.
