If you woke up on Monday wondering whether the Italian papers would be writing about Moise Kean and a move back to Italy, then the answer is yes.

Is there anything of actual interest? Hard to say, but Corriere dello Sport do suggest the striker, who isn’t in Everton’s good books at the moment following his little quarantine shindig, ‘could find himself at the centre of a mega deal’.

The idea here would be for Napoli and the Toffees to sit down and try and work something out between themselves, hoping to find common ground on a deal that would suit all.

We all know Carlo Ancelotti likes both Allan and Hirving Lozano (they are the two players named by Corriere), so you could potentially envisage a Kean + money for the pair transfer being worked on.

There’s not much detail in the article, and it’s a big hypothetical, as the Italian newspaper write ‘there will be a way and even a time’ to get into all this, hinting the return of the league is the priority for the time being.

With Serie A trying to get going again, there’s hope the season could be finished, meaning that until it does, we doubt big transfer dealings will be discussed.

And since a deal of this magnitude would be relatively complex to pull off, we might have to wait to get more detail as to whether or not it could actually happen.

It’s just an idea for now, so if you see ‘BIG MEGA DEAL ON THE VERGE OF HAPPENING’ in the British tabloids citing Italian sources, that’s not quite the case just yet.
