Reports from Catalunya this afternoon bring some good and bad news about Tottenham Hotspur’s late moves in the transfer market.
Journalist Marta Ramon, from RAC1, brings an update specific to the situation of Philippe Coutinho, who’s been heavily linked with a move to London in the past 24 hours.
Starting with the bad news, she says the Brazilian is unlikely to make the move from Barcelona. The player is not keen on joining the Spurs, and sources from the Catalan side believe the transfer is collapsing.
But Spurs could have a good outcome from it, because according to the same report, the club are already working on the arrival of Paulo Dybala, who could be on his way out of Juventus this summer.
A couple of hours before this report, the same outlet had been saying the Spurs and Barcelona were still in negotiations for Coutinho.
So this collapse is hot news, and a proof that the London side have been working hard to get their late signings.
