Liverpool are among various clubs in the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt’s Evan Ndicka in the summer, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The centre-back’s deal expires at the end of this season. He has no intention to renew it and has already communicated his position to the Bundesliga side.
This has seen several clubs, including Liverpool, Barcelona, Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain all chase the 23-year-old.
Ndicka’s name is on the table at the Camp Nou and they continue to monitor his situation. One of the problems for Barca is the competition they will face from Liverpool and other clubs.
Jürgen Klopp’s side, along with PSG and the three Serie A clubs, have positioned themselves to sign the defender for free. Barcelona insist they don’t intend to enter into a battle with Liverpool and others to acquire Ndicka’s signature.
