It seems like the Spanish media have given up on their fanciful claims of West Ham and Everton being interested in Jasper Cillessen, and now moved on to another complicated exit for the Barcelona player.
AS cover claims from Catalan radio which explain Cillessen could move to Valencia, with Neto going the other way. Both goalkeepers are thought to be keen on a transfer.
Valencia need money before the end of the month, so Barcelona would pay €30m for Neto, and then a few days into July the favour would be returned and Cillessen go the other way.
On one hand, it makes sense, but the Catalan media have been saying for months that Barca themselves need money before the end of June, so this wouldn’t help in that regard.
It’s believed the deal could even be done ‘in the coming days’.
